Windsor School of Textile Art: July 2011

Welcome!

We are delighted to announce: -

The Textile Team at Windsor have relocated to our new exciting venue at South Hill Park Arts Centre, and are settling in very nicely. Its such a great creative space to work in and has superb grounds to explore and walk though should you need further inspiration.

We are running a programme of short courses, workshops, mentoring schemes as well as City & Guilds and the Advance Embroidery Workshop. We are also offering Distance Learning courses.

Our Studio based courses are up and running, so if you are interested in joining us for our creative workshops, or would simply want to be kept up to date with news, events and our ambitions then please email us at wstatextiles@gmail.com to join our mailing list.

We have had huge interest in our courses which is great, so thank you for all your support so far. To make choosing a course easier we have added our course descriptions and course fees to our blog, so now you can have a good browse at what is on offer and how much you might expect to pay.

" There is a saying that 'all good things come to an end' but when it takes a different dynamic path the end of one era can lead to an exciting new begginning with a textile centre at South Hill Park.

The reborn 'Windsor School of Textile Arts' is alive and well under the stewardship of Dawn Thorne and Amarjeet Nandhra, two talented and enthusiastic tutors who will ensure that the legacy and philosophy of Windsor textiles will continue to develop and thrive in a new and exciting centre."

We will enjoy watching the centre develop and support it in every way possible.
